Classes with Our Team
Our team is full of incredible teachers and a few of us had the opportunity to prepare classes for RootsTech Connect this year, see our classes here.
Taralyn Parker is a journalist turned family historian who runs the blog Keep Moving Forward With Me . During the covid-19 crisis, she helped create the 21-day Family Connections Experiment: a Family History Project. Whether she is teaching classes or traveling to ancestors’ hometowns, Taralyn is passionate about sharing family history and stories.
Working in the industry for 10+ years, Taralyn manages social media for various companies and organizations. She loves using her talents to help share goodness. Taralyn, her husband John, and their four children enjoy living the small-town life.
Sarah is currently an 11th-grade high school student in Salt Lake City, Utah. She has been doing genealogy and family history work since she was 11. She is the app developer, blog manager, and experiment benefits team manager for the 21 Day Family Connections Experiment. Sarah currently serves as a family history consultant in her church community or ward for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; a volunteer assignment she has held for the last three years. Some of the genealogical work she has done has been in the areas of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Denmark. She is currently working towards receiving the Accredited Genealogist Credential from ICAPGen specializing in the Southwest region of the United States.
